Enterprise Network/Security Consultant
PFH is currently looking for an experienced Enterprise Network/Security Consultant who will be involved in

  • Deliver comprehensive consulting services to customers ensuring the best possible solution is designed and implemented to meet current and future customer requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrate leadership throughout the lifecycle of a customer solution, able to present and demonstrate relevant value at all customer stakeholder levels.
  • Determine scope and technical requirements for engagements.
  • Perform a wide range of consultancy and implementation engagements based on network technologies, security technologies and related offerings for customers (40% Design, 60% Implementation).
  • Play a leading role in the creation of Network and Security offerings and capabilities.
  • Assist Solution leads to deliver high quality Statement of Works (SOW), RFP responses, and other proposal materials to support Consulting and Professional Services activities.
  • Perform billable consultancy work.
  • Successfully lead complex customer projects, bridging between the needs of the customer and the company.
  • Execution and leadership of projects to new and existing customers.
  • Create comprehensive documentation around network and security design and project delivery and deliver handover information to integration and support staff.
  • Assist with the build of proof-of-concept environments to showcase technology and integrate into customers' existing IT infrastructure.

What we are looking for in a Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network technology, network administration, cybersecurity, information security, or similar discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with a background across consultancy, project delivery and operations, able to demonstrate leadership skills within each area across custom and complex solutions.
  • Strong understanding of technologies such as LAN, SDWAN, Firewalls and SASE
  • Relevant industry/vendor certifications on Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, NSX products.
  • In-depth understanding of data communications, security and networking technologies in an enterprise business environment, including datacentre, wide area networking and campus technologies.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with virtual teams including pre-sales and build/implementation teams.
  • Must have strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Demonstrable experience in developing high-end infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in the IT industry with blue-chip clients
  • The ability to document solution components in a timely manner while ensuring acceptable level of detail, data integrity, and accountability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Systems architecture, engineering, and networking experience, with certifications such as SSCP, Network+, CCNA, GISF, GCED, GPPA, and GDSA
  • Experience in designing, implementing, configuring network and firewall solutions for a geographically dispersed, high-availability enterprise environment. The successful candidate will leverage demonstrated experience in network engineering, threat management, and vulnerability management, coupled with proven subject matter knowledge in Palo Alto and Cisco suites of products, to support cybersecurity requirements and objectives.
  • Experience of deploying services into Public Cloud (AWS, AZURE)
  • TOGAF, ITIL etc
