Leading Irish ICT & Managed Services company, PFH Technology Group and its ITQuickQuotes.ie procurement brand today announced a partnership with Pieta House to raise funds for the charity.
Paul Callaghan, CEO PFH Technology Group was at the launch along with Cindy O'Connor, Pieta Houses Nationwide Chief Clinical Officer. “The aim of the campaign is not only to provide financial support but also to raise awareness of the services and free counselling offered by Pieta House,” said Callaghan. “We’ve glad to be able to provide a significant donation to help those in suicidal crisis, those who self-harm and people bereaved by suicide.”
The HSE's National Office for Suicide Prevention (NOSP) Annual Report for 2016 says there were 399 suicides last year. Cindy O’Connor, Chief Clinical Officer, Pieta House said “The Partnership ITQuickQuotes.ie shows that PFH is willing to promote the fact that the company is not only interested in social matters but is also willing to act. This partnership,” she advises “will not only raise money to help prevent suicide and selfharm but help to promote the awareness of our services. We are incredibly thankful to be able to work with ITQuickQuotes.ie and PFH to help get our message out there.”
Pieta House provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm. 1800 247 247 number is available to anyone in suicidal distress, anyone bereaved by suicide and also anyone who is worried about a loved one.
“There will be a donation of €5 to Pieta House for every quote requested from ITQuickQuotes.ie. until the end of this year,” according to Darren Sexton, Head of Inside Sales at PFH and responsible for the ITQuickQuotes.ie brand. “This gives our customers and the business community an opportunity to help increase the amount of financial aid we can provide,” he added, “and all funding is provided by ITQuickQuotes.ie so there is no cost to any organisation requesting a quote. We pay on their behalf.”
