Technical Architect (Senior)

• Location: Hybrid - 2+ days/week onsite in Kildare, Ireland
• Start Date: 3rd November 2025
• Duration: 24 months (with potential extensions)
• Daily Rate Contract

We're seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-grade solutions across modern and legacy platforms. You'll be instrumental in migrating and modernising systems toward containerised deployments (OpenShift), while also supporting the strategic architecture roadmap.

What You'll Do:

• Define and implement architectural solutions for high-impact systems
• Ensure design adherence to best practices, security standards, and system coherence
• Lead risk management and performance reviews across technical deliverables
• Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure scalable and maintainable architectures

Key Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years in technical architecture roles with complex enterprise systems
• Proven experience designing and modernising systems on Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong leadership of cross-functional teams and mentoring of development leads
• Deep understanding of security, governance, and QA practices in system architecture
• Hands-on knowledge of Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, containerisation, and integration tools
