Senior React Front-End Developer | Long-Term Daily Rate Contract | Hybrid (Dublin-Based)
We're hiring an experienced Senior React Front-End Developer to join a high-impact digital transformation project within the public sector. This is a daily rate contract starting in late August 2025, offering a 46-week initial term with hybrid working (up to 40% onsite in Dublin).

• Start Date: 25th August 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
• Duration: 230 working days (approx. 11 months)
• Location: Hybrid - primarily Dublin-based campus (occasional travel to other Irish locations may be required)
• Rate: Competitive daily rate (DOE)
• Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8-hour days between 08:00-19:00

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the modernisation of legacy front-end components to a modern React.js-based UI
• Mentor and transfer knowledge to internal development teams
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
• Deliver robust, accessible, and mobile-optimised user interfaces

Required Skills
We're looking for someone with 7+ years of front-end development experience, including deep knowledge in the following:

• React.js (incl. Redux or Flux)
• Material UI (MUI)
• JavaScript (ES6+), JXS, Babel, CSS, HTML
• Node.js with NPM
• Frontend Unit Testing & Webpack
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Understanding of web accessibility and Lighthouse-based website performance tools
• Experience with mobile/screen optimisation
• Familiarity with Java 8+, Spring Boot (v2.6), and microservices architecture
• MVC frameworks and Agile SDLC experience
