OCI Cloud Engineer (Senior) - Onsite | Contract Opportunity

Are you a highly experienced Multi Cloud Engineer with a strong command of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and multi-cloud environments? We are currently seeking a Senior OCI Cloud Engineer to join an ongoing IT Stability Programme, contributing to a series of strategic cloud-based projects across sectors like utilities, energy, and more.

Location: Hybrid/ Onsite (Cork)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-rate Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: Competitive (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and architectural support across OCI, Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Develop and review cloud integration designs and technical specifications.
  • Deploy, manage, and support live Cloud environments and solutions.
  • Contribute to key projects including ArcGIS, C2M, LIMS, IGEL, Trimble, and others.

You Will Have:

  • Proven experience across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), including:
  • Compute provisioning, bastion setup, firewall/security rules
  • Identity & Access Management (IDCS, IAM, MFA)
  • Object storage management and logging (e.g., OKE logs)
  • Strong multi-cloud exposure (AWS EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, DMS; Azure deployment/admin).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform).
  • Experience in utilities or energy sectors is essential; finance sector experience is a plus.
  • Integration expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Fusion (ERP SaaS).
  • Excellent documentation and handover skills. This role is perfect for someone who:
