Intermediate ICT Project Manager | Contract | Hybrid (Ireland)

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Intermediate ICT Project Manager to join a transformation-focused PMO team on a 12-month day-rate contract basis, with strong extension potential. The successful candidate will support a dynamic portfolio of technical and business transformation projects across a public-sector organisation undergoing significant digital change.

Location: Hybrid - Primarily remote, with twice-monthly on-site attendance in Ballina, Co. Mayo, and occasional travel to Galway or Dublin
Start Date: 13th August 2025
Duration: 12 months (with two optional 12-month extensions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of full project lifecycle deliverables including project initiation, RAID management, benefits tracking, governance, and change control
  • Create and maintain robust project plans aligned with approved business cases
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across ICT, Data, Business and Design disciplines
  • Provide stakeholder engagement and regular updates to senior leadership
  • Drive third-party vendor performance and resource planning
  • Conduct effective project meetings, reporting, and closure including realisation reviews

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of proven project management experience
  • A recognised project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or Scrum
  • Experience managing multiple technical and transformation projects independently
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficient in structured methodologies and frameworks (Agile, Stage Gate, etc.)
  • Public sector or hybrid experience is a bonus
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills
