Greenfield Telco On Cloud
PFH partnered with National Broadband Ireland (NBI) to deliver end‑to‑end IT services across AWS, Azure, core infrastructure, and Microsoft 365, supporting the design, build, and ongoing operation of NBI’s core cloud platform.
The engagement focused on creating a secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud environment capable of supporting NBI’s nationwide operations. PFH implemented a modern cloud architecture with centralised management, enhanced device and endpoint protection, and automated operational processes. The resulting platform was underpinned by standardised operations, improved device management, and centralised Microsoft 365 support, delivering greater resilience, simplified management, and increased operational efficiency. This programme enabled the delivery of Ireland’s first telecommunications network built entirely on public cloud, providing a modern, scalable foundation to support NBI’s continued expansion and evolving operational requirements.
